What our families are saying...

"Montessori Academy has been like a second home to our family! Both my kids started in the infant house and before we knew it they were part of the Children's House. Montessori Academy provided them with the right environment to grow physically, emotionally as well as academically in ways I didn't think was possible.
We are very grateful for this loving and caring school."

"Montessori Academy has been a great experience for my family. We have two daughters that currently attend and to watch them develop with the help of the school has been amazing. They have some of the best staff to work with. I look forward to picking up my daughters and listening to them sing and talk about their day. I truly see the girls going to Montessori Academy as a great investment in my children."

"Montessori Academy has been amazing! We moved from LA where my child often got in trouble at school. Since coming to Montessori Academy, she has flourished! She’s 4 and is reading 5 letter words. She looks forward to going to school each day and isn’t in a rush to go home. She’s never been a problem child since day 1 at Montessori Academy. When you leave your child somewhere you are concerned if they are being protected, loved, cared for and educated. Montessori Academy checks all the boxes for us! Thank you to all the amazing teachers and staff for making learning so enjoyable for my child!"

"All three of our children attend Montessori Academy. They started when my second child had just turned one year old. My oldest is in the elementary. This is a fantastic school! It is not just a daycare like so many other places for our kids' age groups. I am and always have been amazed by how caring the teachers are and how our children have progressed. Our youngest (2 years old) is learning to sound out the alphabet, how to write letters and numbers, sorting colors and recognizes names of shapes, and speaks a vocabulary of a 5-year-old. This is how all three of our children have been in this school. We plan to keep our children there as long as possible. You cannot get this level of teaching and personal attention anywhere else. We adore this school, the faculty and the setting. We recommend it to anyone looking for quality teaching and after-school care.

The tuition is standard for the area, and well worth it. Before coming to this school we had our two oldest in a daycare setting part-time and paid the same as full-time at this school. In the daycare, our kids were not taught. They were just "watched" as they played. I hated it and felt guilty every time I left my babies there. I do not feel the same with this school."

"Montessori Academy has been a blessing to my kids and myself. My children have attended this school for at least three years.

The preschool teachers are wonderful and are one of the few trained with real Montessori methods around this area.  I especially appreciated the teacher’s openness to my thoughts and ideas regarding my child’s (5 years old now) growth.

The elementary teacher, Ms. Tammy, is a gem and I truly feel that she is gifted in teaching. It is rare to find a teacher who is as passionate and dedicated. I have tried the public school system (shortly), and prefer the elementary Montessori due to the flexibility and customization they offer to my child’s specific learning style and needs. Furthermore, my child (at the time in 2nd grade) was far more advanced in reading and math. This is when I was able to see the difference in Montessori versus the public school system.

Thank you to all the staff and teachers at Montessori Academy!"

"My daughter started attending Montessori Academy in 2011 at the age of four. As a first time parent, I was a bit anxious about leaving her in a new environment, but I knew that this was the school for her/us the moment I walked in and spoke with the school's director, Julie Schmidt. She is incredibly warm and very passionate about the Montessori method and education in general. Sophie spent the next two years in Julie's class. The classroom is not only an emotionally and socially nurturing environment, it also provides an education that is tailor-made to fit your child's personality and personal development. I can't say enough about the Montessori method and the materials used for learning.

My daughter is now eight years old and enrolled in the elementary program at Montessori Academy. There are only 20 students ages 6-12 in one classroom with two teachers. The teachers are incredibly in tune with who the children are and are able to nurture their strengths and also help them with what might be challenging for them. Every child has the opportunity to flourish and work at his/her own pace. I especially love that my daughter is getting a well-rounded education that not only focuses on language and math, but also science, anatomy, history, art, botany, zoology, music and more. I am so happy that my daughter gets to experience an early education that brings out the very best in who she is."
